Alice is a Toronto-based lifestyle and portrait photographer who captures everyday moments with a distinctly dramatic flair. Taking artistic cues from Asian traditions – Chinese ancestral portraits, Hong Kong auteur cinema – and infusing them with elements of Renaissance portrait painting, Alice’s photographic style embraces bold story-telling, colour, spontaneous “in-between” moments and joyful vibes. Her recent creative collaboration for Asian American Pacific Islander Month, is a celebration of vibrant colours and sumptuous textures, where Alice combines still photography and motion to showcase the delights of an Asian American vintage-themed dinner party.
